How it works

Basic notifications

We offer notifications regarding tasks only. We will expand this system with notifications on email and collaboration along the way.

You will only receive notifications regarding tasks owned by or assigned to you. The notification types are:

  • A new task is created

  • The status of a task is changed

  • A task is marked as completed

  • A task is reopened

  • The due date of a task is changed

  • A task is archived

  • The task title is changed

  • The task description is changed

  • Tags on a task have been changed

  • The assignee has been changed

  • The task has been moved to another workspace

Notification timing

The notifications are sent immediately.

Browser notifications

To enable browser notifications, RogerRoger will ask to allow browser notifications. These notifications are only shown when you don't have RogerRoger visible on your screen.

If you blocked notifications you will only receive notifications inside RogerRoger when the application is active.

Update browser notifications settings

You can enable or disable notifications at any time. For example, in Google Chrome, open RogerRoger in your web browser. Click on the lock icon 🔒 next to the URL and toggle on the Notifications setting to enable RogerRoger notifications.

toggle on the Notifications

Still not working? When on MacOS try 'Settings' > 'Notifications' and look for your browser. Check if notifications are allowed and update the settings if needed.
