Create and manage tags

Add unique tags to speed up your workflow

Tags are the glue between messages, people, and tasks. Well, that is if you set them up to be so. 😉

Linked by tags information is offered to you in a clear (connected) way and found back faster using search, filters, and sorting. You can add as many tags as fit, but it's always better to keep things simple.

Add a tag

Tags can be set on people, companies, emails, and tasks. Look for the "add tag" field, it lives in the top left of the page. You can add multiple tags, adding and removing them is as easy as clicking a tag or closing it by clicking the cross.

Manage tags in "settings"

To manage things like text and color of a tag and delete tags you don't use go to settings/tags. Click the tag you want to edit and don't forget to save it when you're done.

Best practice

  • It pays off to plan your tag system. That sounds a bit heavy maybe but imagine the amount of work you have to invest in correcting a forest of tags added by all team members for a year.

  • If possible discuss the system with your team or manager before implementing it. Using a system all by yourself when you work in a team makes no sense. Get the whole team on board, and make it a teambuilding exercise if necessary.
