Keeping your active contact lists focused and uncluttered is easy with the archive feature. Follow these steps to archive contacts you no longer need in day-to-day workflows—and restore them when you need to.
Go to the Contact Details page for the person or organization you wish to archive.
Click the ⋮ to open the context menu.
Click on Archive.
Confirm when prompted.
Open any Contacts List (for example, “All Contacts,” “Leads,” etc.).
Open the context menu (⋮) in the list’s header area.
Toggle Show Archived (or “Include Archived”).
The list will refresh to include archived contacts.
With Show Archived enabled, click on the archived contact’s Contact Details.
Click the ⋮ to open the context menu.
Click on Restore.
Confirm, and the contact will immediately reappear in all standard lists, searches, and selection fields.
Bulk Archive: In many list views you can multi-select contacts and choose Archive Selected from the context menu.
Filtering: Combine “Show Archived” with other filters (status, tags) to locate specific archived records quickly.
Audit Trail: Archived contacts retain full activity and communication history—nothing is deleted, only hidden from active views.
By archiving instead of deleting, you keep your CRM lean while preserving valuable historical data—ready to restore whenever you need it.
